Quote by AlfonseHey lin
Just stoppin by to see how you've been.
And to ask you for a tip.
How'd you work with L-canceling? I wanna get better with that and was curious
how you practiced it.
I hope you can give me some pointers. heh
Well, that's all I came for.
Catch ya on the flip side.
L-canceling... that took me a long time to get down. I didn't really practice it
in training mode like I did with wavedashing. I used to just practice it
in-between KO's, like when I killed the enemy I would practice short-hopping and
then l-cancelling the attack. I used that on Ganondorf's dair only at first,
because that thing has very noticable lag so I can tell when I did it or not.
After that I started to move on to the moves with less lag, like Samus's
aerials. After I l-cancelled everything I did, I incorporated the fast-fall
along with it, and that was also a long and tedious process; I'm still learning
how to do it now . It would probably be most effective to go to training mode, choose a
character with laggy aerials (Bowser is a good candidate), and just practice the
crap out of l-canceling. After you do that, move onto your character and try
l-cancelling from there.
Quote by AlfonseWow lin, giving advice on
Fox already.
Yeah that's a good move to pull off, but you know, I hate to wait for my
opponent, so I just go straight for them as they try to come back to the edge.
I'm just that kind of guy.
Anyway, about those names....
Coolness.
Great names Stev0maru.
Also I'm glad to know most of you are already practicing. I'd like to see how
good Peach is for you Stev0maru. I've never really fought anyone good who uses
Peach.
Which reminds me...
Which character would you NEVER use on Melee, and why?
For me, I'd have to say the Ice Climbers or Ness. Their 3rd jumps aren't very
reliable. Like if you were to lose Nana, that all together takes out your 3rd
jump, cause she's the one who slings you up high. And Ness, well, having to
control that PK thunder to his back is impossible for me. I hate their third
jumps. Btw, what does PK stand for?
I would never use the IC; on my account for Melee it says that they are the
characters that I use least often. I don't know what PK stands for, but you
really underestimate the uses of PK thunder. When you get it right it can
devastate opponents, and Ness has something called a broken hitbox. Apparently
there are several glitches that allow Ness to do remarkable things, like running
into people to damage them, spiking people by touching them, and stuff like
that. Go to http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=ssbm
and click on Simna iba Sind's Guides; he has two that show Ness' full potential.
To face Giga Bowser, play on normal and beat everyone up to Bowser in 18 min. No
minimum amount of lives. It is hard to play against level 9's as Samus because
computers have something called "perfect timing": they can time
everything. Thier timing is perfect to the point where they can throw Ganondorf
and C. Falcon out of their up+B's. The hardest combination of level 9's to kill
is 3 level nines of your character. It gets insanely cheap after a while because
of "perfect timing," so they know where you will be before you will be
there.
To answer your question, I thought Am Abend was good because of the lushfulness
of the scenery, and the way that the sun is breaking through the castle is just
very cool.

Quote by lin1011The wallpaper is great! I
like it, but the faces just look weird to me,
and Alphonse's eyes look a little big... I don't know, but that's just
me.
Yeah!! Al's eyes are kinda weird but maybe its because he is not Al ^^
Ohh....and thank u for the comment!!! Bye, bye!!!
Oh, he isn't Al? Sorry; I don't watch it that much, and I've never seen Al
before he got into the suit of armor. My mistake.
